Part-Time Art Instructor 15-20 hours

Whimsy Wees Art Studio is seeking a part time art instructor position for our Enrichment Art Program that is held at 4 elementary school sites around the Beaverton District.

The instructor will lead and instruct weekly art projects with no more than 20 kids at each school site. The instructor will be trained and will prep for each lesson.

Qualifications: 

• High School Degree minimum 

• Have a valid driver’s license and dependable car to get to school locations

• Be willing to go through a criminal background check

Responsibilities:

• Enjoy art and have experience working with groups of children

• Be able to work independently an facilitate a group of children

• Be able to multi- task, make sound judgments and demonstrate appropriate role modeling

• Have a positive attitude in actions and words

$20 an hour 8-10 hours weekly for the Enrichment Program at the school sites.

The school sites have specific hours but training and prep hours can be open.

School Site Hours

Mondays- 2:15-3:30pm,

Tuesday- 2:45-4:00pm,

Wednesdays- 2:45-4:00pm,

Thursdays- 2:45-4:00pm

Additional Hours

Birthday parties on Saturdays and Sundays (12-2pm or 3-5pm)
