Policies
Upon registering for any class, workshop, event, or party at Whimsy Wees Art Studio, you agree to the following policies:
No Refunds
All registrations are final. Due to limited capacity and advance planning for staffing and materials, Whimsy Wees does not offer refunds or credits for classes, workshops, events, or parties.
Whimsy Wees is charged non-refundable processing fees for every transaction, including refunds. For this reason, refunds are not issued.d will be given.
Extreme Circumstances
In the case of serious, unforeseen circumstances such as hospitalization, a family emergency, or relocation, please contact us prior to the start of the event. A studio credit may be considered at our discretion. Refunds or credits will not be issued for dissatisfaction, change of plans, scheduling conflicts, or missed events. If a child is asked not to continue due to behavior that impacts the safety or experience of others, a refund may be issued at our discretion. If Whimsy Wees cancels an event, a studio credit will be issued.
Processing Fees
Any approved credit or refund will have the original payment processing fees deducted (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction), as these fees are non-refundable to our studio.
Events & Workshops
This includes all events, workshops, paint nights, No School Art Days, after-school classes, Creative Lounge, and enrichment classes. There are no make-ups, refunds, or credits for missed events. Once a spot is reserved, we are unable to fill that space if missed.
Paint Parties
A $100 deposit is required to reserve your party date and time. This deposit is non-refundable.
If a party is canceled or postponed, the original deposit will not transfer. A new $100 deposit is required to secure a new date. Refunds are not issued for guests who do not attend.
Attendance
Consistent attendance supports each artist’s progress and experience. Class registrations are non-transferable and cannot be shared or transferred to another child. Missed classes are not eligible for refunds or credits. In the case of a serious medical situation (such as a broken bone, severe illness with a doctor’s note, or a death in the family), a credit may be issued at our discretion. Please email us as soon as possible so we can place a hold on any remaining classes.
Rescheduling, Teacher & Class Substitution
Whimsy Wees reserves the right to reschedule classes or issue a credit for future use due to low enrollment, severe weather, or instructor illness. If an instructor is unavailable, a qualified substitute or replacement teacher may be provided.
Late Pick-Up Policy
We understand that unexpected delays can happen. Please notify us if you will be late. A 10-minute grace period is provided after class dismissal. After 10 minutes, a $15 late fee will be charged.
After 30 minutes, a $30 late fee will be charged. If late pick-up occurs three times within a session, the student may be dismissed from the program without refund. If we are unable to reach a parent, guardian, or emergency contact after 30 minutes, we may be required to notify local authorities.
Studio Rules
Whimsy Wees is a welcoming, inclusive space where creativity, positivity, and community are at the heart of everything we do. Artists are encouraged to support and appreciate one another’s work. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, or behavior that disrupts the learning environment. Students who are unable to follow these expectations may be asked not to continue in the program.
