Drop In for any Art Exploration Class
This engaging, project-based class blends engineering, mixed media art, and drawing to give young artists a rich, hands-on creative experience. Students K-5th grades will experience several focused lessons in each area. Students will design and build imaginative structures, explore materials like paint, ink, clay, acrylics & collage, and strengthen their drawing skills through guided lessons in shading, perspective, and contour. With age-appropriate groupings and modified projects, artists gain confidence, problem-solving skills, and a strong foundation in both creative thinking and technical art-making.
This class meets every Thursdays at 3:30 for grades K-5th and 5:00pm for 4th-8th. Artists will be grouped by age and projects will be modified. This dynamic drawing-focused class, young artists will learn techniques for creating realistic drawings, including shading, perspective, and contour. Artists will also bring their own creative visions to life through imaginative prompts and open-ended projects.
We’ll work with a variety of drawing mediums, including graphite, colored pencils, and markers giving students a chance to experiment and find their unique artistic voice. Each class blends technical instruction with creative freedom, allowing students to develop confidence in both observation-based and expressive drawing.

**Good attendance is necessary to ensure maximum progress and enjoyment of class. Classes are non transferable and spots cannot be given or transferred to another child. If an artist misses a class there are NO REFUNDS or credits. Please refer to our Art Studio Policies Page before registering.
