Homeschool Workshops

We’re dedicating Friday Mornings to Homeschool Workshops!

90 minute sessions either 9:00-10:30am or 11:00-12:30am 6 sessions/ September 15-October 20th

*Can’t commit to all the sessions or finding us late. We can prorate or we have a Drop-In option.

Artists will participate in workshops that are designed to incorporate art with science and social science standards. Artists will be exposed to a wide array of high-quality art materials, techniques, art processes, art movements & styles, along with providing exciting exposure to current and past artists. Art projects will be linked to specific standards and will be ongoing. Themes will include Pollination, Plants, Animals, Engineering Design, Multicultural Studies, Community, and Tribal History/Shared History. Artists will also learn the 7 different elements of art by exploring watercolors, oil pastels, line drawings, acrylic on canvas, collage, modeling clay and building with recyclable items. The workshop will have no more than 20 students and is taught by Lisa Arcangel. Lisa was a classroom teacher with Beaverton School District and taught at Findley Elementary for many years, she also has her Masters in Special Education.
